Children and teens are invited to design and fly original kites inspired by marine life during Puerto Morelos’ Todos a Volar Kite Festival.
The competition includes Category A for ages 8–12 and Category B for ages 13–17. Kites will be judged on creativity, originality, functionality, compliance with the rules and the use of environmentally friendly materials. Dangerous, flammable or environmentally harmful materials are prohibited.

Each category awards $1,500 MXN for first place, $750 MXN for second and $500 MXN for third. Register by Thursday, August 20 at the Municipal Youth Institute offices, Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Information: 998 241 7848 or 998 395 6441.
