Playa Food Week 2026

For one week in October, Playa Food Week invites residents and visitors to get out and explore Playa del Carmen’s restaurant scene while supporting local businesses. Organized by the Asociación de Gastronómicos de Playa del Carmen, the week brings participating restaurants together under the theme Sabores que nos unen — Flavors That Bring Us Together, with each business offering its own Food Week promotion or experience.

October 12–18 | Participating restaurants throughout Playa del Carmen

Rather than taking place at a single venue, this is a citywide event: choose from the participating restaurants, check out their Food Week offering and make a week of trying somewhere new. The focus is as much on supporting Playa’s independent restaurant community as it is on eating well—something the state tourism authority also emphasizes in its promotion of local gastronomic events and producers.
