ElCineClub presents a special 25th anniversary screening of Donnie Darko (Richard Kelly / USA / 2001 / 113 min), restored and back on the big screen. The film will be screened in English with Spanish subtitles.

After narrowly escaping a bizarre accident, Donnie begins receiving visits from a mysterious giant rabbit who claims the world is about to end. What follows is a mind-bending journey through parallel realities, fate, and teenage alienation. Written and directed by Richard Kelly, this 2001 cult classic never had an official theatrical release in Mexico and has since become a defining film of its era, known for its haunting atmosphere and unforgettable soundtrack.

Now, 25 years later, it returns in a restored version for a limited screening.
