Xel-Há Triathlon 2026
The Xel-Há Triathlon returns to the Riviera Maya for its 16th edition on November 14 and 15, bringing together high-performance athletes, amateur competitors, families, and supporters for one of Mexico’s most important triathlon events.
The competition will take place over two days. On Saturday, November 14, athletes will compete in the Olympic distance, which includes a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike ride, and 10 km run. On Sunday, November 15, the event continues with the Sprint, Children’s, First-Time Women’s, and Relay categories.
The Elite category will offer a $100,000 MXN prize purse, with an additional $30,000 MXN awarded for the Olympic and Sprint divisions.
Known as one of the most sustainable triathlons in Mexico, the event promotes recycling, biodegradable materials, and the use of environmentally friendly sunscreen. In addition, 100% of registration fees will be donated to Flora, Fauna y Cultura de México, A.C. and the Mexican Red Cross, supporting conservation and social benefit programs.
