🙏 From July 6 to 16, the community is invited to celebrate the annual Patron Saint Festival in honor of Our Lady of Carmen, the patroness of Playa del Carmen.

Novena
July 6 – 14
7:00 PM – Novena, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, and placement of the Virgin’s mantle

Thursday, July 16

Solemnity of Our Lady of Carmen

3:00 PM
– Thanksgiving Mass
4:00 PM – Solemn procession with the Blessed Virgin to the 5th Avenue Chapel
5:00 PM – Procession by sea: “Mary blesses and protects Playa del Carmen”
Afterward – Reception with mariachi music at Playa Fundadores

A solemn Eucharistic celebration will also take place on the esplanade of Parque 28 de Julio, presided over by Monsignor Salvador González Morales and Father Enrique Flores Álvarez, L.C. After the religious celebration, the festivities continue with the traditional Dance of the Pig’s Head and the start of the traditional Vaquería.

The entire community is warmly invited to participate and accompany Our Blessed Mother.
