Mexican Independence Celebration in Playa del Carmen

Celebrate Mexican Independence Day in the heart of Playa del Carmen with the traditional Grito de Independencia and two major free concerts at Plaza 28 de Julio.

Mexican singer-songwriter Ximena Sariñana will open the celebration with her blend of pop, rock and alternative music. Romantic Latin pop duo Sin Bandera, featuring Leonel García and Noel Schajris, will bring the evening to a close with favorites from more than two decades of music.

Admission is free and the celebration is family friendly.
