Janal Pixán 2026 — Sunday Night

📅 Sunday, November 1, 2026 📍 Playa del Carmen, Q.R. 👤 Ayuntamiento Playa del Carmen

The second day of Playa del Carmen's Janal Pixán celebration brings one of the festival's most memorable traditions to the streets: the U Xiimbal Pixano'ob — Procession of Souls.

Beginning on Fifth Avenue, the procession makes its way toward Plaza 28 de Julio, where visitors can admire the monumental Day of the Dead altar, explore the Ofrenda y Memoria exhibition and enjoy an evening of regional food, handmade crafts and cultural performances.
