Festival PAAX GNP 2026 at Hotel Xcaret Arte

🎼  Festival PAAX GNP returns to the Riviera Maya for its fifth edition, bringing an international program of symphonic music, opera, ballet, chamber performances, and late-night musical experiences to Hotel Xcaret Arte.

Led by Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra, the festival gathers world-class musicians, dancers, vocalists, and creative artists for an immersive celebration of the performing arts in the Mexican Caribbean.

The 2026 program includes performances by The Impossible Orchestra, the Orchestra and Choir of the Community of Madrid, ballet presentations, opera, chamber music, and the festival’s distinctive PAAX Darkside series. Highlights include a semi-staged version of Carmen. The Reel Story, ballet performances featuring dancers from The Joffrey Ballet, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, a world premiere by Mexican composer Gabriela Ortiz, and appearances by artists including Gaëlle Arquez, Arturo Chacón, Chucho Valdés, Vanessa Moreno, Leo Rondón, and others.
