Day of the Dead Catrina Workshop

Start your Day of the Dead decorations early with a hands-on Catrina workshop led by Catrinas Cielo Gamboa. Rather than decorating a ready-made figure, participants will learn how to build the structure and skull for a Catrina measuring up to 30 centimeters.

The second half of the session is devoted to painting, clothing and finishing the figure with crepe paper, tissue paper and materials that can be recycled from home. You’ll leave with your own Catrina and a better understanding of how these wonderfully elaborate figures come together.
