DESCRIPTION:For the first time\, Cancún will host the XXXIX National Ice S
 kating Championship\, taking place May 18–24 at the modern Happy Arena r
 ink inside Plaza Outlet. The week-long competition marks a milestone for t
 he city and further positions Cancún as a growing destination for nationa
 l sporting events.\n\nMore than 400 skaters from across Mexico are expecte
 d to compete\, representing states including Estado de México\, Mexico Ci
 ty\, Puebla\, Querétaro\, Guanajuato\, Nuevo León\, Jalisco\, Tabasco\, 
 Yucatán\, San Luis Potosí\, and Quintana Roo\, along with athletes from 
 the National Polytechnic Institute and Metepec. Among the highlights is th
 e participation of two-time Olympian Donovan Carrillo\, one of Mexico’s 
 most recognized figure skaters.\n\nThroughout seven days\, spectators can 
 expect high-level routines\, official ceremonies\, and a dynamic atmospher
 e as athletes\, coaches\, judges\, and families gather for one of the coun
