 án\, agriculture\, rain and the harvest. In Maya cosmovision\, the autumn
  equinox marks the close of an important agricultural cycle and a time to 
 give thanks for the milpa\, the rains and the food produced from the land.
 \n\nThe evening will include the traditional Janal Kóol\, a communal act 
 of gratitude honoring the gods and Kukulcán before the cycle turns toward
