DESCRIPTION:🦈 Playa del Carmen will host the second edition of Tiburón 
 Toro (Bull Shark) Fest 2026 at the Sayab Planetarium\, bringing together s
 cientists\, conservation groups\, divers\, service providers\, and familie
 s for an afternoon focused on bull shark conservation and sustainable tour
 ism.\n\nOrganized by the municipal government through the Secretary of Eco
 nomic Development and Investment Attraction\, the festival aims to strengt
 hen environmental education\, promote marine conservation\, and highlight 
 the importance of responsible shark tourism in Playa del Carmen.\n\nThe pr
 ogram will include environmental education workshops\, exhibits from more 
 than 21 conservation projects\, panels with national and international spe
 cialists\, family activities\, and documentary screenings.\n\nSpeakers and
  organizers will also address common myths about bull sharks and the role 
 this species plays in the local marine ecosystem. Playa del Carmen is reco
 gnized as an important site for bull shark research and responsible shark
