 55th edition of the Rodeo de Lanchas Mexicanas will award more than $900\,
 000 pesos in prizes\, including:\n\n🏆 1st Place: $500\,000\n🥈 2nd Pl
 ace: $250\,000\n🥉 3rd Place: $150\,000\n👨‍✈️ Best Captain: $30
 \,000\n⚓ Best Sailor: $25\,000\n\nBeyond the payouts\, this tournament i
 s a long-standing Caribbean tradition—three days of early launches\, off
 shore strategy\, and dockside storytelling once the lines are in. Teams fr
 om across the region gather to test their skill and endurance in Cozumel
 ’s deep blue waters.\n\nWhether you’re competing or watching the weigh
 -ins\, it’s one of those weekends when the island’s maritime identity 
 takes center stage.\n\nPre-registration runs from April 1 through April 30
  at a cost of 8\,500 pesos at the Subdirección de Desarrollo Económico o
 ffices in Altos Plaza del Sol\, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00
