 he 3rd Festival de la Tierra returns to Playa del Carmen from April 18 to 
 25\, 2026\, inviting the community to reconnect with the natural world thr
 ough culture\, dialogue\, and practical solutions. This year’s theme —
  “Reforest through culture and consciousness” — sets the tone for a 
 week of environmental education and grassroots action.One of the key event
 s takes place Sunday\, April 19 at 6:00 PM at Cafebrería Zapatista in Vil
 las del Sol. The evening will feature a talk and audiovisual presentation 
 on dry toilets — exploring ecological sanitation as a conscious alternat
 ive for water conservation in karst regions like ours. Specialists\, colle
 ctives\, and sustainability advocates will share research\, lived experien
 ces\, and regenerative design perspectives.Throughout the week\, the festi
 val includes exhibitions\, circular concerts\, community conversations\, a
 nd hands-on activities. On April 22\, participants are encouraged to plant
  a tree and share their photos\, and on April 25\, a human chain action wi
 ll take place in Chen Zubul.Bring your own reusable containers and help re
